planting a tree for ballina's 2023 generation - 25 November 2023

As part of Ballina's Third Climate Action Weekend, join us in Tom Ruane Park for a tree planting ceremony, as we come together to plant the last of Ballina 2023's 10,000 trees in celebration of the newest members of our community, the babies born in Ballina in 2023.

This special occasion is not only a warm welcome to our youngest residents, but also to include them in a symbolic gesture in support of a sustainable and greener for Ballina and for their generation, planting trees that will help create a richer, ecologically-sound environment for generations to come.

Be part of this meaningful event, and together, let's plant the seeds of hope, change, and a greener future for Ballina.

What’s involved?

We invite all proud parents of Ballina's 2023 babies to be a part of this special initiative. By submitting the form below, you're not just registering your baby's name, you're creating a legacy; intertwining your child's name forever with a brighter, greener future for our beautiful town. It's a small but powerful step towards nurturing the environment and fostering a sense of community for your little one.

Submit the form today via this link:
https://forms.gle/6arcYkqFC3z1GD1q6 and let your baby's name be a part of the change we wish to see in the world!

This event is an initiative of Ballina Green Town in partnership with The Mary Robinson Centre, Ballina Chamber and supported by Ballina 2023, CARO Atlantic Seaboard North and AIB.
