Mayo's climate Action weekend - 25-27 November 2022
This weekend – 25-27 November- is Mayo’s Climate Action Weekend. Here in Ballina, we’ve got an ambition to be Ireland’s Greenest Town, and we’re calling on you to help us make that possible!
What’s involved? We’re calling on all people of Ballina to join us in making commitments to be more sustainable in their lives. Will you leave the car at home once this weekend? Maybe join Ballina’s Community Clean Up Group for their Saturday morning clean up? Or maybe find out more about what you can recycle at Rathroeen Civic Amenity Centre or pledge to bring a reusable coffee cup for your morning cuppa?
Join us for walks and talks taking place around Ballina to learn more about the great sustainability work underway in town!
‘Mayo’s Call to Action on Climate – Local Action, Global Impact’ is an initiative of Ballina Green Town in partnership with The Mary Robinson Centre, Ballina Chamber and supported by Mayo County Council.
